We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our EU Affairs Team in Brussels to support expanding the company’s business activities.

Main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively identifying and prospecting new business partners via closely monitoring the EU Affairs market
  • Applying your EU Affairs knowledge and experience to develop strong business proposals and generate revenues for the company
  • Managing satisfying relations with existing clients,
  • Working closely and in cooperation with the Editorial, Community, Events, and Multimedia departments of the company
  • Monitoring results according to budget

Job requirements / profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience in and proven track record of business development/fundraising for corporate clients, trade associations, public affairs/communication consultancies, NGOs, start-ups or advertising agencies
  • A University degree
  • Strong understanding of EU policy making process and stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Sales-driven and motivated by challenging targets and own results
  • Strong organisational skills with strategic thinking
  • Excellent social, communication skills and team spirit, with a hands-on and solutions-driven work mentality
  • Outgoing personality and excellent networker, willing to attend networking events frequently outside office hours
  • Tech-savvy (internet, mobile, social media)
  • Interested in working as an independent contractor
