Background

EURACTIV is an independent pan-European media network specialised in EU policies. We spark and nourish policy debates among stakeholders, including government, business and civil society. We cover policy processes upstream of decisions, summarising the issues without taking sides.

The EURACTIV Network provides free localised EU policy news in 13 languages. Together with our media partners, we reach over 1.7 million users across Europe and beyond, every month. With 2,5 million page views and over 1 million unique readers per month, EURACTIV is a leader among online media specialised in EU policy. We address 80% of our readers in their own language.

EURACTIV has an original business model, based on five elements (corporate sponsoring, Euractor membership, advertising, EU projects, and content syndication). It is well funded and the content usage is free.

We are currently looking for a Premium Programme Marketing Manager with a taste for digital marketing and premium content plus knowledge of email marketing tools and analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Create and implement marketing campaigns across digital channels targeting new clients.
  • Combine email marketing, social media communication, internet banners and others (with Director support) to increase EURACTIV premium subscribers.
  • With training, provide timely and relevant user reports using digital reporting tools (mainly Google Analytics and Piano Analytics).
  • Analyse user behaviour and propose plus implement ways to influence such behaviour.
  • Work closely with the premium program product manager to promote our premium programs and increase engagement of subscribers.
  • Contribute creative ideas to grow the quality and reach of our digital efforts and support the growth of our premium audience in Brussels and in Europe.

PROFILE

You are an avid media consumer and enthusiastic digital communicator that already had a successful experience with premium content. You know your way around digital marketing and tools that automate emailing, and are excited to learn more.

  • You have 2 to 5 years experience in digital marketing and/or in premium products
  • You enjoy working with data and taking data-driven decisions seems natural to you.
  • You have some knowledge of EU institutions, policymaking and media.
  • You’re able to continually problem-solve and navigate the ever- changing digital space. 
  • You’re hard-working, a team-player, based in Brussels or willing to relocate
  • You’re fluent in English (written and spoken) and at least one other European language.
  • Experience with the Piano platform and an eye for good design are a plus.
