ESL & Network (Groupe ADIT) is a French consulting firm specialised in business intelligence, public affairs, and strategic communications. It provides strategic advice to public and private actors and accompany them in the decision-making process as well as the follow-up of the various actions put in place. ESL & Network’s European branch provides its expertise on legislative monitoring and lobbying action at EU level. Its Brussels office is currently looking for a Junior European Affairs Consultant.


  • Legislative monitoring and research at both EU and Member State level
  • Preparation of reports, minutes, newsletters, presentations and other written deliverables for a range of audiences, from technical annual reports through to website content on various EU topics (e.g. Trade, Agriculture, Transport, Health)
  • Contribution to the organisation and support of other programme-related activities of meetings, conferences and events


  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (European Affairs, Political Sciences, Law)
  • Previous experience on EU Trade and / or Agri topic appreciated  
  • Experience in Brussels-based consultancies, trade associations, and / or within the European Institutions would be an added-value


  • Working knowledge of EU decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including interacting with multi-national and multi-disciplinary stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, including time management, multi-tasking and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English and French (required)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team


  • Start date: 22 November 2021
  • Duration: 6 months
