Acuitas Communications is an award-winning public affairs and corporate communications agency that specialises in EU affairs. Acuitas is going through an exciting period of growth and currently has an opening for a new joiner with exceptional skills to join our multi-lingual Brussels-based team in an exciting, fast-paced environment, as part of Acuitas’s network of offices.

Tasks

• Support key clients in the energy and carbon reduction sectors, in financial services, and biopharmaceuticals, among others
• Proactive intelligence gathering and monitoring on key EU developments
• Policy building and advocacy
• Media and stakeholder engagement and mobilisation
• Representing clients in external fora, including EU institutions and stakeholder events
• Preparing presentations for clients and new business prospects

Profile

• Proactive, detail-focused, commercially minded and driven, and keen to build a career in public affairs and/or corporate communications
• Knowledge of English and French required, any other language is a strong asset
• Experience: previous professional experience in the EU institutions is required
• Excellent understanding of EU institutional processes
• Able to summarise EU proposals and assess their potential business impact
• Excellent administrative, written and oral communications skills
• Ability to write clear position papers and press releases
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. A familiarity with graphic design would be appreciated
