Bernstein Public Policy specialises in complex political decision-making processes and regulatory issues. It is part of the Bernstein Group, which consists of several partner-led consultancies focused on special communications situations, transformation processes and political advocacy.

We are looking for the following to start immediately at our Brussels office

                                                   Junior Associate (m/f/d)

You will be entrusted with diverse and challenging questions. You will accompany European political processes closely and from the very beginning. You will be an expert guide and implementer for our clients while we support you in quickly and independently assuming responsibility for clients and projects.

Do you enjoy the following tasks?

  • Observing and classifying political and regulatory developments through independent research and background discussions
  • Analysing and preparing of information for specific target groups, inter alia policy papers, argumentation papers and presentations
  • Supporting your colleagues in developing argumentations and strategies
  • Preparing and supporting meetings with clients, representatives from politics and administration as well as other relevant stakeholders
  • Continuously and proactively developing your know-how and network within business, politics and the media

  • Your education consists of a very good degree, e.g., in political or governmental sciences, law, European studies, economics or business administration or similar, in which you were able to acquire a sound knowledge of EU decision-making processes.
  • You can express yourself excellently in German and English and ideally have a good knowledge of French and/or other major European languages.
  • You are confident in dealing with influential players from politics and business.
  • You have gained initial work experience in the Brussels policy environment through internships or part-time jobs in the European institutions, associations, business representative bodies or political strategy consultancies and are now looking for an opportunity to systematically develop your career path in this field.
