The European Technology Chamber (EUTECC) is a non-profit pan-European organization with key aim of advancing technology in emerging markets and developing  sustainable industry collaboration between Europe and Asia Pacific.

Are you an aspiring junior journalist looking to cover print and online media? Do you have a passion for technology, policies and internationalization (focusing on the Belt & Road Initiative (BRI))? Are you an allrounder ready to work on your own initiative and support building up our new quarterly print publication?

Key responsibilities

  • Cover EU affairs in relation to emerging markets, especially Asia Pacific/China
  • Defining and writing articles, news stories and press releases across a variety of subject areas
  • Engaging in and managing networks in Brussels, as well as in EU Member States
  • Maintenance of different publishing platforms, including print and website

Essential skills required for the role

  • Professional experience in media, communication and/or public relations
  • Clear and concise writing and excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English
  • English native speaker
  • Enthusiasm and motivation
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines / strong organizational skills
  • Up to date knowledge of privacy & content laws
  • Proven experience in website content management and social media tools
  • Ability to work in a team as well as alone

You will create and respond to the news agenda, report to the local representative and EUTECC Management and work with industry experts to create a new publication.
