Human Resources Business Partner

European Schoolnet (EUN Partnership), 100 staff members, is looking for a HR Business Partner who can develop effective relationships with line managers and provide a professional HR service to the staff. The position is based in Brussels and offers the opportunity to work in a multi-cultural environment. The successful candidate will provide advice and support across the whole employee life cycle.

Main responsibilities
  • Recruitment and selection – manage the recruitment and selection processes in collaboration with line managers. Coordinate the onboarding of newcomers. Updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Skills development & job performance – coordinate the annual review process in all teams including an assessment of both professional and soft skills.
  • Learning and development – contribute to the elaboration and monitoring of the training policy, coordinate the implementation of the training activities, both internal and external, keep track of trainings attended.
  • Human resources policy & strategy – develop, implement and update human resources policies – including well-being, HR strategies and initiatives in line with the corporate values of the organisation.
  • Reporting and management of human resources metrics – produce reports on key metrics, including trainings, remuneration & benefits, absenteeism, and turnover.
  • Mentoring – organise and animate line managers meetings dedicated to HR issues.
  • Hearing and resolving employee grievances, counselling employees.
Profile and skills:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Legal background may be relevant.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven work experience in human resources development in a multi-cultural environment (recruitment strategies, career development, well-being, skills assessment,….).
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, communication, negotiation, and consultative skills.  
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) and excellent command of English.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Capacity to bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or any other issues.

  • Type of contract: full-time
  • Duration of contract: 1 year (renewable)
