IFOAM EU is looking for a dynamic and motivated person to join our team and contribute to the development of the office.


Office Coordination (50%)

  • Manage the mailbox and info email address
  • Coordinate the office supplies
  • Coordinate the IT hardware with the IT consultant and keep track of all IT equipment;
  • Participate to improve the office environment (plants, terrace, more environmentally friendly environment…);
  • Ensuring the office is clean and the employees respect the office rules (kitchen, sanitary,…);

Finance (50%)

  • Organise and prepare all accountable documents to be booked according to the legal requirements;
  • Process travel reimbursement form and following up with employee ensuring the compliance with working methods ;
  • Bookkeeping General, Purchase and Sales ledger (cash, invoices, office cards) – (software: BOB50);
  • Prepare all invoices, debit notes, donations and Membership Fee and liaise with relevant unit to report on received incomes;
  • Updating of data base for incomes (donation and sponsor) and liaise with the relevant staff for the follow up.


  • High School Level or Bachelor in Secretariat studies (no master’s degree)
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in similar position.
  • Very good command of French (speaking and written) or Dutch
  • Good command of English (speaking and written) – intermediate level


  • Very good organisational skills
  • Able to set up priorities
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a truly intercultural environment


  • Full time position
  • Only EU citizens or with a valid Belgian working permit
  • Based at the IFOAM EU office in Brussels
  • Monday to Friday, 38 hours/week
