The Secretariat of Copa-Cogeca representing European farmers and agri-cooperatives is recruiting a

                                 Digital and Print Designer.

Challenges & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the communication team and all other relevant department in Copa-Cogeca, on the approach, development, production and implementation of projects.
  • Creating on demand and proposing graphics (infographics, videos, posters, leaflets, banners, etc) for publications and outreach material, including on social media.
  • Managing Copa-Cogeca's printing machines and ensuring that the workflow requests are delivered on time and on a professional standard.
  • Acting as the contact person with contractors for maintenance and external prints (banners, goodies, etc).
  • Assisting Copa-Cogeca's communication team in the development and maintenance of new web based platforms.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Proven ability to take projects from concept through completion with minimal direction and supervision
  • Experience working in a variety of mediums and formats.
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills, as well as an advance understanding on how your work fits into a whole vision.
  • The drive to collaborate and design at a high level in order to produce memorable, compelling and effective work.
  • Excellent typography skills and an innate sense of hierarchy and layout.
  • Strong presentation and production skills, and willing to operate at every level of a project form strategy to production work.
  • Owning your work and schedule, consistently delivering against tight deadlines and effective managing your own time


  • A level of education that corresponds attested by a diploma in Information Systems, Digital Design or related qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, website's CMS, and Illustrator is mandatory.
  • Experiences with Premiere and After Effects is a plus (or comparable web animation/video software).
  • Experience on Digital Printing principles, including calibration methods, paper grading, the use of related machinery (cutters, guillotine, electronic plotters, heat press binding machine, etc).
  • A good portfolio of engaging, strategic, print and digital work.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects on tight deadlines and to work autonomously.
  • A knowledge of Corporate Communication at EU level is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and French, additional EU languages are an advantage.
