IATA

 IATA is the International Air Transport Association, it was established in 1945 in Havana, Cuba by a small group of airlines to promote Inter-airline Corporation with the mission statement to represent, lead and serve the airline industry. We represent approx. 350 airline members, that’s over 80% of the airline industry. In terms of organizational spread, we have more than 50 office across more than 50 countries with our legal headquarters being in Montreal, Canada, and our executive ones in Geneva, Switzerland. We also have 5 regional offices; the one in Miami for the Americas region, the one in Madrid for Europe region, the one in Amman representing Africa and the Middle East, the one in Singapore representing Asia Pacific and the one in Beijing representing China and North Asia.
