Aliénor : a firm committed to its clients and its people

Aliénor is a Brussels-based consultancy specialising in public policy and communications. Founded in 2013, the firm is committed to promoting the sustainable use of natural resources, with equal emphasis on the three pillars of sustainability: economic, social and environmental.

We place strong importance on upholding these humanistic values within our own organisation, fostering a supportive, inclusive and engaging working environment. With a team of nine and an average age of 32, Aliénor is a dynamic and growing agency. Our work covers a range of stimulating topics, including aquaculture, the circular economy, agriculture and water management.

Our vision & missions

We are genuinely committed to the issues we work on and align closely with our clients’ values. We provide tailored support across a range of services, including the development and implementation of public affairs strategies, legal and regulatory advice, organisation of events and bilateral meetings, monitoring of legislative and policy developments, institutional communications, and facilitation of stakeholder dialogue. We are also involved in several European projects, where we lead communication and dissemination activities.

We place a strong emphasis on developing an expertise in our areas of work. Our approach is bespoke and rigorous, with a constant focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. Our objective is to provide European and national decision-makers with reliable, objective information to support well-informed and balanced policymaking.

Our values

Our team works in an agency guided by strong values:

Towards our clients

  • Professionalism : We are recognised by our peers for delivering tailored services grounded in rigour, expertise, efficiency and a continuous pursuit of excellence.
  • Trust : We build long-term, trust-based relationships with our clients by providing high-quality, tailored support, combined with reliability, availability, ongoing dialogue and tangible results.
  • Accessibility : We structure our work to ensure continuity and responsiveness, with at least one team member involved in each project always available to respond effectively to clients’ needs.

Towards our employees :

  • Humanism : We place strong importance on employee well-being by fostering a healthy work–life balance, offering flexibility, attentive management, and offering them a pleasant working environment (comfortable and calm offices). We also promote a culture of trust based on openness and loyalty.
  • Team spirit : We encourage initiative and collaboration through working methods and tools designed to strengthen team cohesion, including paired work, weekly team meetings, shared training sessions (especially in self-knowledge, management of priorities, skills, etc.) and regular team moments.
  • Support : We provide a clear framework to support each employee’s development, with structured goal-setting and biannual performance reviews, as well as regular feedback. Career development opportunities are transparent, with clearly defined roles, responsibilities and expectations.
  • Consistency : We are committed to aligning our work with our values. This is reflected both in the consistency of the positions we promote and in our teams’ alignment with our clients’ objectives. We only engage in projects that are fully in line with our principles.
