A.SPIRE is a European Association that represents ten European industrial sectors (cement, ceramics, chemicals, engineering, minerals and ores, non-ferrous metals, steel, water, refining and pulp&paper) and the research & innovation interests of more than 160 members (companies, research & technology organisations et al.). A.SPIRE is a private partner implementing the Processes4Planet Co-programmed Partnership launched as part of the Horizon Europe framework programme.
Position
A.SPIRE is looking for a full-time stagiaire/intern to support communication activities of A.SPIRE, together with some administrative tasks.
Contract: Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle (CIP)
Starting date: 1 September 2026
Duration: 6 months
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Trainee, you will be:
- Managing communication tools (social media accounts, updating websites (Drupal), newsletter editing software, SharePoint, internal campaigns for members, etc.)
- Creating communication content for newsletters, social media campaigns, small publications, presentations, etc.
- Organising virtual and on-site workshops and meetings.
- Setting up networking activities for A.SPIRE members on a platform.
- Editing the format and layout of internal and external communication materials,
- Supporting A.SPIRE Team to fulfil obligations in EU-funded projects in the area of communication and dissemination
- Supporting P4Planet projects in their dissemination activities
- General administration and day-to-day office tasks (archiving, dealing with information flows by mail or phone, contacting suppliers, IT provider, etc.);
- Other ad hoc tasks as requested.
You will work under the guidance of a Communications Specialist, and interact with the A.SPIRE Team and external contacts, members and suppliers. You will be regularly handling confidential and sensitive data (of the association, its team and its members) and will be required to exercise discretion.
EDUCATIONAL SKILLS
- Recent graduate in communication, public relations, business, or similar.
- Knowledge about the EU and its institutions.
- Excellent spoken and written English. Good knowledge of French is considered a plus. Other languages are an asset.
- Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), internet research, databases, ,Any graphic or image editing tools, , such as Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. are considered a plus.
- Analytical and organisational skills, attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.

REMUNERATION
€ 1.200 gross per month (Full-time paid internship) plus meal and transport vouchers.
