YOUR ROLE
This is a hybrid role combining team leadership, business development, and hands-on advisory work, with the opportunity to progressively shape and grow our private sector activities. You will play a role in developing a business unit, while remaining closely involved in client work and team management, with the support of senior leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business development and growth
- Support business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals
- Participate in marketing and lead generation initiatives (e.g. events, client outreach, content development)
- Contribute to strengthening the company’s positioning in the private sector
Team leadership and operations
- Lead internal weekly team meetings, set priorities and coordinate resources to support delivery and team development
- Review and validate deliverables before submission to clients
- Supervise, mentor and provide regular feedback to team members
Client relationship management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and manage day-to-day communications (emails, calls, updates)
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively manage expectations
- Handle client queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth delivery of client work
- Ensure that projects are delivered to the requisite quality standards while respecting agreed timelines and available budgets
Legal and advisory work
- Conduct legal research and draft high-quality client deliverables
- Carry out compliance assessments and advisory work
- Contribute to recurring monitoring activities (e.g. regulatory tracking, reporting)
- Support preparation of publications and public-facing outputs (e.g. PR or thought leadership content)
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 2-5 years of proven experience in team management, ideally in a consultancy
- A background in legal consultancy, compliance, or a solid working knowledge of national/EU legal frameworks
- An entrepreneurial mindset: you take initiative, identify opportunities, and make decisions confidently
- A passion for scale-up dynamics: you thrive in environments where things move fast and your impact is visible
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and able to work autonomously
- Professional-level proficiency in English
