IPEC Europe is looking for an Event and Communication Officer to support our activities during a parental leave period and ensure continuity of activities on days when our Communication Manager is not available. This role offers a unique opportunity to take responsibility within a small and dynamic team, while benefiting from the guidance of an experienced colleague. It is ideal for a motivated young professional eager to develop skills in event planning and communication in an international association at the heart of Brussels’ EU quarter.

Key tasks:
- Help organise the IPEC Europe Excipients Forum 2026: logistics, promotion, and on-site support
- Ensure smooth running of event tasks when the Communication Manager is away
- Prepare content for social media, newsletters, and the website
- Design simple visuals and materials to support communication
- Track and report on communication performance
- Contribute to ongoing communication activities and campaigns
Candidate Profile:
- Master’s degree in Event Management or Communication, or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in event organisation, or a similar role
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), working knowledge of French or other European languages is an asset
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong command of social media and digital communication platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and graphic design tools (Adobe suite)
- Creative with an eye for details
- Comfortable working in an international environment and interacting with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
