Marketing & Communications Assistant

As Marketing & Communications Assistant at Euractiv, you will play a key role in supporting and executing content campaigns that promote third-party client content across various digital platforms as part of Euractiv’s Advocacy Lab. Your efforts will focus on driving both organic and paid growth, ensuring that client messages reach the right audiences effectively.

Your tasks:

• Assisting with the development and implementation of creative content campaigns for Euractiv’s Advocacy Lab and other commercial products to promote client content across various digital channels including email, social media, online advertising and the Euractiv website;
• Analysing performance metrics to enhance effectiveness and ROI while managing and updating commercial databases and reporting back to clients on campaign performance;
• Taking the initiative in copy writing and creative content production (text and visual creation for social media posts and advertising campaigns), creating commercial case studies for marketing campaigns and collecting client testimonials;
• Monitoring Euractiv social media channels to foster engagement with third party clients;
• Researching and generating lists of potential commercial partners;
• Providing input for partnership development pitches and proposals.

Ideal profile:

• Proven understanding of and interest in EU policies and the “EU Affairs” market in the broader sense, i.e. corporations, industry federations, civil society, and consultancies;
• University degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, Business Management, European Studies, or related field;
• Brussels-based with remote working options;
• Digital and internet savvy;
• Fluency in English - other European languages are a plus (especially French or German);
• Proactive in making sure Euractiv’s content is properly promoted;
• Flexible, go-getting, team player;
• Able to face tight deadlines;
• Knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ad Manager is a bonus.
