eu.bac is the European Building Automation and Controls Association. It represents the major European manufacturers of products and systems for home and building automation. Its vision is a world where energy efficient, sustainable, healthy and comfortable buildings are achieved through the optimal application of home and building controls, automation systems and services. eu.bac has founded the European Association of Energy Services Companies (eu.esco) for promoting Energy Performance Contracting as the economically sustainable solution for improving the energy performance of existing buildings using the guaranteed energy savings to pay for the installation.

You are up for the challenge ...

  • Lead the coordination of the openBEP4EU project on behalf of eu.bac, ensuring the successful delivery of all work packages and compliance with the project’s timeline and deliverables in coordination with the Managing Director
  • Act as the primary contact point for the project consortium and eu.bac members regarding the project progress
  • Monitor the project budget, ensuring alignment with the grant's financial regulations
  • Support the dissemination and promotion of the project’s outputs, developing strategies to boost stakeholder engagement and market adoption
  • Identify and explore future European projects and funding opportunities relevant to eu.bac’s mission
  • Coordination and preparation of meetings

... with dedication and know-how

  • University degree in International Business, European Politics, or comparable qualification 
  • Proven experience with European-funded projects
  • Experience in identifying and securing European funding opportunities for future projects beneficial
  • Working knowledge of the building sector or energy efficiency preferable
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive, hands-on mentality 
  • Excellent command of  English, other European language beneficial 
  • Willingness to travel internationally
