We work with large institutional and private clients from the EU and abroad, offering market research, data analytics, innovation management, policy advisory, representation and funding-related services.

Our EU Funding and representation unit, works at tailored consultancy services and representation for our clients to build their EU funding strategy which aims to increase their EU Funding success rate and increase their visibility in Brussels.

Hand in hand with our Research Unit, we work at the frontiers of international research and innovation and collaborates with world-class academic and industrial actors, start-ups and SMEs, on large collaborative research projects (Horizon 2020) in fields ranging from energy, transport, smart cities and sustainability, to healthcare, finance, and migration. Our growing project portfolio entails work on diverse topics such as urban planning, mobility, circular economy, Industry 4.0, blockchain technology, renewable energy sources, business analytics, migration and regional development.

The position

We are currently looking for an Associate Project Managers to join our growing EU Funding and Representation unit in our office in Brussels.

As an Associate Project Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivery of policy, strategy, and stakeholder engagement/networking services
  • Mapping of EU Funding Opportunities together with project idea Analysis & assessment of eligibility considering available funding
  • Drafting applications to EU Call for Proposals & Tenders
  • The daily implementation and management of EU research projects (Horizon 2020, Green Deal, HEurope etc.).
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information as well as in the elaboration of deliverables and scientific reports.
  • Attending Brussels based EU Funding and policy related networking/brokerage events and following-up with matchmaking activities
  • Willing to be active in EU networks and Influencing decision makers on future funding priorities and opportunities
  • Assisting on monitoring Results & Impact Evaluation of the client services
  • Guiding/Coaching client institutions from EU project development to project management of their EU funded proposals.

What we are looking for

The selected candidate should have:

  • A BSc/MSc degree in Social Sciences, Business or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). English-written dissertation would be a plus.
  • Strong academic performance (e.g. we are looking for top-in-class graduates; please indicate your grades in percentile if possible).
  • Language skills – Our working language is English. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must. Fluency in French is required for networking activities as well as Brussels based project management activities. Other languages are a plus but not a requirement.
  • Multi-tasking abilities and a consultant mindset (e.g. being able to work across different tasks and domains, with demanding deadlines, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn).
  • International outlook and ambition (e.g. experience abroad, experience with multi-national teams and openness towards travelling abroad).
  • Communication and social skills (e.g. competence in expressing complex ideas in writing, networking skills, communication and presentation skills, ability to work in diverse teams).
  • 0-2 years of work experience in EU Project Development and/or Management
