The EBB is recruiting for the following position:

EBB EU Affairs Researcher


  • Academic degree in law, economics, political sciences, administration or management
  • Knowledge of the EU decision-making process and stakeholder environment
  • Interest in bioenergy and in European energy, environmental and climate change policies
  • Strong research skills and knowledge of how to find information quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and google calendar
  • Strong collaboration skills and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Experience in Public Affairs, either in-house or in a consultancy, will be considered a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of another European language will be considered a plus

Job description:

  • Legislative and media monitoring
  • Supporting daily activities of the association
  • Researching on issues of interest for the association
  • Providing general support such as taking notes, preparing briefs and background materials, updating data bases, etc.
  • Organizing events and conferences

Terms and conditions:

  • Duration of the contract: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
  • Starting date: January 2020 (interviews will take place in December 2019)
  • Working language: English
