Senior Media & Communication Manager

logos is looking to hire a Senior Media & Communication Manager to join its fast-growing international team.

Social and media relations management

  • Lead the design and implementation of 360° communication strategies across all channels and platforms
  • Design and manage the media presence and PR strategy to boost the profile of clients and events (e.g. positioning, awareness-raising)
  • Draft press releases and other news items to boost the external visibility of clients and events
  • Advance relations with Brussels-based journalists and facilitate interviews for clients
  • Design and manage the implementation of digital/social media activities (namely Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • Lead the content production and channel management for social media campaigns

Messaging and marketing

  • Design and implement annual marketing and event plans (e.g. create branded activities for clients, identify event speaking opportunities in panel sessions or roundtables, organise physical presence and branding at trials, demos and/or trade shows)
  • Define messaging and outreach before, during and after events to target audiences
  • Develop marketing collaterals and communication assets (e.g. infographics, animated videos, gifs or graphs)
  • Design and manage the editorial approach for websites, reports, newsletters
  • Design and manage the information flow activities and achievements to members of large associations

Client and budget management

  • Lead the development and implementation of the external and internal communication plans of large associations or corporate clients in line with the approved budget
  • Lead business relations and regular meetings with clients
  • Source, manage and negotiate with third-party suppliers (e.g. PR officers, event organisers, graphic designers) and update the preferred supplier database

Business development

  • Pro-actively contribute to the business development and marketing strategy of logos
  • Discern customers’ evolving needs and build sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with clients in line with overall sales approach and execution
  • Develop and follow-up on business prospects: support in preparation of proposals, pitches, prospectus development, timelines and operations



  • Hands-on experience in media relations, communication, digital and social media advocacy, including engagement with relevant communities (e.g. journalists, social media influencers); media and social media publishing or monitoring tools (e.g. Meltwater, Socialbakers, Sprout Social, Hootsuite), website creation and content management
  • Experience in team management


  • Public-speaking and copy-writing in English
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and understanding of the factors involved in client decision-making processes for consultancy services
  • Creative approach to problem-solving
  • Project management skills: time management, process oriented, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, understanding client requests and supplier needs
  • Fluent written and spoken English (native speaker or equivalent) and command of another European language is a must


  • Master’s degree in media Relations, Marketing, Communications or other related fields.
