Main duties/responsibilities:

  • Supporting our Social Media Manager to cook up inspiring content on food innovation across our SoMe channels;
  • Video editing, interview series, banners & campaign visuals to use throughout year, build our stock of photos & images;
  • Support content planning and scheduling for EIT Food (Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook);
  • Plan & create social media promotion of hero campaigns (Future of Food roundtables & Podcast series) and specific activities (new newsletter, launch of a startup guide, MooCs, FoodUnfolded launch);
  • Helping us get this great content in front of the right audiences having researched audience needs, data insights and SEO;
  • Tracking performance of campaigns and providing data-driven insights to continually improve our communications;
  • Social media measuring: Do a competitive audit with other similar accounts to learn how we could improve and to inform our social strategy;
  • Social media reporting: Create, update, improve our social media and website dashboards (set up google tagging, pixels, Google Data Studio reports, conversion management etc.) and extract relevant monthly data to inform our social media strategy and management team;
  • Helping build brand awareness of EIT Food and its activities by identifying key stakeholders to target with our communications, including influencers, journalists and politicians;
  • Supporting our website manager to create, monitor and improve website copy, keeping all pages up to date. Writing articles and setting up event pages when needed.
