Founded in 1992, Confrontations Europe, a non-partisan association, seeks to influence the choices of European and national decision-makers. It brings together numerous European economic and social actors to put forward joint proposals to foster economic and social development in Europe. Confrontations Europe’s network is composed of 30,000 citizens and actors in Europe (285,000 visitors per year to its website).


The project “Solidarity Tour” aims at strengthening direct democratic participation thanks to the organization of interactive debates on EU political agenda and decisions. We want to gather citizens with a wide variety of backgrounds and coming from 7 EU countries (Belgium, France, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Serbia) as well as civil society’s representatives (NGOs, European think tanks, local associations, …).


Project management

  • Development of the partners network in each of the 7 countries involved (regular travels in Europe)
  • On-site event management and following the whole logistic organisation
  • Development and preparation of innovative animation techniques
  • Drafting the support materials (communication documents on the different partners, topics of debates, conferences schedules, …)
  • Logistics (meetings organisation, looking for venues, hotel and transport booking, …)
  • Communication actions

Administrative and financial follow-up of the project

  • Drafting follow-up material
  • Drafting monthly and final reports
  • Drafting the recommendations released following the project

Support to the team


  • You have at least a degree in European or international project management, international relations, political science or other relevant education
  • You have excellent writing and communication skills
  • You can work autonomously and have a can-do attitude
  • You are computer literate
  • You are rigorous and able to prioritise
  • Language skills:
    • French and English compulsory
    • Serbian, Czech, Polish, Hungarian, Greek considered as a strong asset
  • Knowledge or interest in EU public affairs, especially related to the following topics: education and youth, employment, exchange programmes, EU enlargement, migrations

Requirements of the European Youth Portal

  • To be aged between 18 and 30 years old
  • To be an EU citizen
  • To live in a different country than the country where the job is located
