Party of European Socialists (PES) is looking for:
Press and Communications Officer

The Party of European Socialists (PES) is a European political party, which brings together Socialist, Social Democratic, Democratic and Labour Parties of the European Union. There are 33 full member parties from the 28 EU member States and Norway. In addition, there are eleven associate and ten observer parties. Our office is based in Brussels.
European politics and thus the PES is ever changing and evolving, creating a dynamic working environment. The biggest challenge ahead is the upcoming European election in 2019, including our shared manifesto and the campaign for our common candidate. As a believer in democracy and transparency, PES launched the idea of the common candidate in 2013, and we have successfully campaigned for the process to continue, so that the future President of the European Commission will be elected in an open and transparent process. In this context, the PES aims to be important, relevant and visible political actor on the European level. On a national level, our mission is to provide tools and support to all our member parties, in order to help their performance on national elections and to coordinate our efforts in ensuring that all the voices of our members are well heard in the EU.
We currently have a vacancy for a Press and Communications Officer, who will work as member of the PES communications team in Brussels.
