A non-profit, member-based organization, PV CYCLE offers collective and tailor-made waste management and legal compliance services for companies and waste holders around the world.

Founded in 2007 by and for the PV industry, PV CYCLE today includes a broad range of waste products in its portfolio.


The General Ledger accountant is primarily responsible to provide concrete financial and administrative support to the Finance Manager in the growing volume of transactions and activities in Europe (BE, IT, DE, UK, FR, ES).

He/she works together with the local accountants and with other colleagues.

He/she reports to the Finance Manager and supports him to migrate the accountancy software to Microsoft Navision.

Key tasks:

  • To book the bank statements
  • To book purchase invoices and to organize the pay cycle
  • Responsible for monthly/quarterly activities:
  • Accruals & deferrals
  • Payroll and expense notes entries
  • Timely reconciliation of all GL accounts
  • VAT and tax returns
  • ICO re-invoice and reconciliations
  • Fixed assets

Responsible for yearly activities:

  • To assist on the yearly financial closure and financial audits
  • To support the European reporting to the Finance Manager.

  • Budgets

Extended Duties

  • Credit control and debt collection responsibilities
  • To liaise with the Country Managers and provide them on-going financial support
  • Prepare the consolidation financial statements
  • Being part of the IT-automatization project team, as well as being sensible to process adjustments


  • EU citizenship
  • Advanced experience with NAVISION system is a MUST. Experience implementing it is desirable.
  • +3 years GL accountant (not AP or AR) within an international corporation;
  • Proficiency knowledge of Excel;
  • Advance knowledge of English (C1). Additional languages (French, Dutch, Italian or German) are an asset;
  • Excellent analytical skills.
