Within the EU Infrastructure Advisory Team, part of the EY's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), as a result of our continuous and successful growth in this specific consulting space, we currently offer a career opportunity for a Junior Consultant.

The new hire would provide support for projects in the energy sector delivered to the EU / IFI Institutions who are the Team’s focus clients.

Main Tasks:

Under guidance, preparation/drafting of proposals in response to tenders issued by the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and other International Institutions including among others:

  • management of relationships and coordination with consortium member companies cooperating with EY on projects/bids;
  • drafting of minutes of meetings and conference calls;
  • support to bid management and finalization;
  • establishment of templates and monitoring of internal procedures/policies;
  • administrative follow-up of contract management;
  • Support in the implementation of projects awarded to EY;
  • Support in the drafting of analysis and research papers mainly in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energies, infrastructure investments/financial instruments.


  • Master of Science in Economics/Finance/Management/Engineering or any other relevant field;
  • Bachelor/master thesis and/or experience with focus in at least one of the following fields: renewable energy, energy storage, energy efficiency (in buildings, industry, networks, transport), research and innovation in the energy field, climate adaptation/mitigation policies, energy policies;
  • Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines;
  • Willingness to learn, proactivity, openness to work in a multicultural environment;
  • The position is entry level for fresh graduates, however a brief job experience or internship in consulting firms, financial institutions, engineering firms and/or EU Institutions will be considered as an advantage.

Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
