Job description

The Senior Adviser will be incorporated into Euros / Agency’s European Affairs department in Brussels. He / She will run European advocacy and Public Affairs campaigns for Euros / Agency’s clients: governments, companies, associations and other organisations of international dimension.

He / She will be accompanied by a supportive junior team, and will report to the Brussels’ Office Director. Working languages will be English and French.

Main tasks include:

  • Clients relations and account management
  • Advocacy and engagement towards EU institutions and third-parties
  • Communications and media relations
  • Copywriting and content creation
  • Business development & corporate communications

Your profile

  • You have an excellent understanding of the European political environment and its stakeholders, and fully master the European decision-making process.
  • Thanks to your public affairs skills and experience you understand the dynamics of influence. You are ready to identify priorities (what really matters), develop strategic thinking, draft relevant contents & engage with public officials and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Within the office, you are able to manage multiple issues and deadlines, while remaining rigorous at all times. With your clients and colleagues, you remain committed to the highest professional and ethical standards.
  • You hold an international background and are ready to adapt to new environment. More than a particular degree or school, you created your own academic path and ran extra projects.
  • You are naturally curious, eager to learn on new topics and meet new people. You want to have responsibilities and be part of a fast growing company with long-term perspective.
  • And in addition to being particularly talented, you are a nice and fun person, who wishes to evolve in a growing team of equally nice and funny men and women in their thirties.

Required skills:

  • Command of professional English and French
  • Independent, proactive and rigorous
  • Team spirited and team player
  • Excellent writing skills and perfect spelling
  • Curiosity, news savvy you even read the business sections of newspapers (in particular during working hours otherwise it is a bit worrying)

Elements particularly appreciated:

  • Former experience(s) in the European Institutions
  • Experience working on EU transport and/or digital policy
  • Command of other foreign languages

Experience(s) and degree(s):

  • At least four-five years’ experience in European Public Affairs, including in a Public Affairs consultancy
  • University degree in European Affairs, Political Sciences, Business, Communications, Journalism, Law or any related topic
