The EUI has a vacancy for a Research Assistant in the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies.
Reference number: RSC3/2018 (please quote in all correspondence and indicate this number in your application). 
Department: Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (RSCAS)
Length of contract and % of full-time: 1 year, starting between June and September 2018, with the possibility to be prolonged for maximum up to 5 years.
Full time: 30/30.
Place of work: Florence, Italy.
Salary indication: 1900 - 2500 EUR/month based on experience and qualifications plus allowances if applicable.

Job description:
Assisting the FSR Energy team on the Electricity Network Codes:

  • Contributing as course assistant to the development of the online training on Electricity Network Codes
  • Contributing as research assistant to the development of policy briefs on EU market design issues related to the Electricity Network Codes


  • Master level degree in economics or engineering; 
  • Knowledge and interest in EU and national electricity markets and regulation;
  • Experience as course/teaching assistant;
  • Experience with online training.

Languages: Excellent knowledge of English as working language is required. Knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage.
