Leaseurope, the European Federation of Leasing Company Associations, is looking for an adviser to join our Research and Statistics team.

Who are we?

Being the voice of the leasing and automotive rental industries in Europe, Leaseurope represents the common interests of its members vis-à-vis European and international institutions, as well as producing industry statistics and market trends analysis, research papers, publications, position papers and press releases.

Leaseurope is recognized as the premier source for information on the state of the European leasing and automotive rental markets.

What will you be working on?

The Adviser in Statistics & Economic Affairs will have the following main responsibilities:

  • running regular surveys with the Federation’s Member Associations and European leasing companies, including collecting, aggregating, analyzing and interpreting collected data;
  • drafting of reports and press releases for internal and external use, including qualitative analysis of market trends;
  • collaborating on Leaseurope’s research projects in the context of the Federation’s Research Programme;
  • assisting to implement a new data management system for the Federation;
  • supporting the Leaseurope external communication by presenting market developments and research findings to various audiences both in Brussels and internationally, including providing support for internal meetings (agenda’s, supporting documents, minutes, etc.), authoring articles for submission to specialized press and journals, and by delivering input to Leaseurope publications;
  • working closely together with other colleagues to create and organise the programme of the Federation’s Annual Convention;
  • developing support material and content for use in submission to policy makers and standard setters.

Who are we looking for?

  • Our ideal candidate has a University degree in economics or a related field (preferably Masters level), with first rate academic record.
  • You have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience and speak/write in fluent English (independent/proficient English native or equivalent). Other languages are an asset.
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills are a must, as are strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • You have good computer skills, in particular with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of other software packages such as Stata is an asset.
  • We are looking for someone with an analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail and who is ready to take on responsibility for deadline oriented projects.
