About the Zero Waste Consumption & Production Programme

The ZW C&P programme aims at enabling a system change championed by new business models and new consumption habits and practices in the direction of increasing resilience, nutrition, safety, jobs and designing out waste. The end goal is to move away from disposability and a throw-away culture. The programme focuses on creating enabling conditions both in terms of European policy frameworks and measures at the local level, scaling up solutions and zero waste business models, and challenging the current business as usual targeting Fast Moving Consumer Goods Companies when necessary.
