EUROCITIES, the network of major European cities, is offering a work experience placement in the finance department. 

You will be working under the supervision of the EU projects finance officer for a period of six months, starting on beginning of January 2020.

  • Monitoring projects’ budget, including preparation and follow-up of outgoing and incoming invoices
  • Preparing costs statements, checking reimbursement claim forms and monitoring of staff costs
  • Preparing ad hoc documents for audits and supporting the finance office in answering auditor’s questions relating to finances
  • Providing logistical support to the finance officer
  • Printing and filing invoices in the project folders


You are/have :

  • a bachelor degree in finance and/or accounting
  • excellent command of MS Excel
  • good command of MS Office
  • good understanding of EU funded projects
  • proactive, organised, team player
  • French and/or English speaking
