Job Description
Salary: £27,694 per annum (more for an exceptional candidate) + excellent benefits
Based: London

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join a dynamic and enthusiastic London-based communications team, which supports almost every area of the UK’s leading peacebuilding NGO.
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that reflect our understanding of the central role the web has to play in what we do. In communicating our work to potential funders, policy makers, fellow NGOs and the general public we want to scale up the impact and reach of our online presence.
You will therefore be a multi-tasker and effective time manager who can balance the demands of maintaining our current home website, several project based websites and other tasks with taking part in the development of an exciting strategic development plan for expanding our activities online.
With a strong web design and development background you will be equally comfortable dealing with our IT department on technical issues and with other colleagues with little or no technical knowledge. As a resource in strong demand you will also have extensive experience of managing a workload and taking ownership of your own work plan.
In fulfilling your tasks you will call on excellent people skills, being both a self-starter and a team player, ready and willing to contribute to the development of a first class online communications capacity.
