Job Description
MO Group International is looking for a driven and dynamic Web Content Writer to assist in developing and implementing online marketing strategies. We offer an interesting and diverse working environment with an international team setting.
The successful candidate should have experience working with the online marketing industry and have credible and professional writing skills. The role requires someone who is creative and can commit to their projects and ideas.
The Web Content Writer will help promote and implement MO Group International's Multilingual Search Engine Optimization strategy. This position will report to the Senior SEO Consultant and be a member of the MO Group International SEO and Localization team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work with the SEO Consultants to assist with strategic planning, audience identification, general and targeted keyword identification, and aligning all marketing activities with the clients' strategic plan
* Assist in developing and implementing marketing communication plans that include:
o Writing website content;
o Editing and proofreading content;
o Writing product descriptions, brand support material, short articles etc;
o Verifying web pages before they go live;
o Writing content for online magazines.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors or Masters degree;
* At least 1 year of relevant writing experience (e.g. public relations, media campaigns, advertising, development of marketing communication plans);
* Strong work ethic;
* Proactive;
* Online marketing (SEO/SEM) experience;
* Translation experience;
* Strong command of the English language with experience in at least one other European language is mandatory; * Knowledge of different marketing practices;
* A writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer friendly;
* A knack for editing and proofreading with good research skills;
* Ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences;
* An understanding of keywords and META tags
* Ability to write web page titles, meta tag descriptions, alt tags for images etc;
* Ability to understand and follow clear SEO instructions;
* A flair for writing with a clear understanding of what works online;
* Work permit for the European Union.
