ECHAMP (www.echamp.eu) is the European association of companies that work closely together to ensure that its members can meet the demand from users and prescribers across the EU for homeopathic and anthroposophic medicinal products. It advocates in favour of an appropriate regulatory environment for these products in the EU.

The main task for this traineeship is to research and compile a market study of the industry for homeopathic and anthroposophic medicinal products in Europe, including an economic, regulatory and legal profile of the industry.

Skills required

  • Graduate with an economic/marketing/business background and experience of working with market data
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of other European languages (in particular French, German, Italian, Spanish) is an asset
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer; experience of data manipulation (in Excel) an advantage
  • Ability to work in a small association
  • Affinity to our business area is an advantage.

General Tasks

Assist the General Secretary and Office Manager as follows:

  • undertake research from a range of internal and external sources to acquire market, regulatory and legal data regarding homeopathy and anthroposophic medicines in the EU Member States and other relevant countries
  • analyse and compile data and present key findings
  • compile summary and overview information for the industry report
  • assist in other specific ongoing projects as needed, including web search, document draft and layout, meeting organisation etc.

The traineeship is paid in accordance with the Belgian Law.
