Job Description
Particip
- Is a consulting company operating mainly in the field of international development co-operation, with an annual turnover of about 5 mio € in 2007
- Plans, manages and evaluates projects and programmes of national and international donors
- Works in an interdisciplinary and team-oriented manner, covering a wide spectrum of cooperation sectors
Your qualifications
- University degree, post-graduate degree would be an additional asset
- Work experience in and knowledge of international development cooperation
- Adept at evaluation of projects, programmes and policies, and familiar with a broad spectrum of development cooperation evaluation methods
- Used to work with both national and international donors, especially with the European Commission
- Professionally experienced in consultancy work
- Proficient in English and French, good knowledge of Spanish and / or German would be an additional asset
- Willingness to travel to clients in Europe and overseas to provide consultancy and back-stopping services
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal)
- Project management and team leading skills based on a goal-oriented and cooperative leadership
Your opportunity
- Leading and organising a team of six in order to achieve the team targets
- Business development, implementation and back-stopping of projects together with the team
- Financial planning and control of projects and resources
- Definition of short-, medium- and long-term staffing requirements of the team
- Ensuring excellent quality of the team’s consultancy services and project management
- Coordinating the work of own team with other Particip teams
