Description
indecon consulting GmbH is an independent consultancy with its headquarters in Berlin. It has been incorporated in 1998 and is owned and managed by its directors. It provides public sector consultancy and corporate advisory services. indecon's competence areas comprise: Public Administration Reform, Privatisation, Private Sector Development, Energy and Utilities. Our assignments include international aid-financed projects in Central and Eastern Europe and the transformation states in South-Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

Tasks
indecon is looking for a Student Assistant to support our headquarters in Berlin - primarily in preparation and management of EU-funded technical assistance projects.
You will be involved in identifying new business opportunities globally, cooperating with senior staff in the preparation of international service tenders throughout all the phases of the work process, as well as supporting ongoing project undertakings. The tasks also include supporting our internal administration (e.g. database administration).
You will have your own working space in a young and communicative team that will always be open for new ideas and approaches. A later employment of the incumbent is highly striven for.

* Min. "Zwischenprüfung/ Vordiplom" or Bachelor Degree in economics, political science, law or similar;
* Internship with leading edge corporations and organisations related to Technical Assistance;
* Prior experience in the preparation of EU/World Bank/UNDP or other GTZ service tenders would be an advantage;
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English are a must while written and spoken fluency in another language will be an additional asset;
* IT-skills: advanced use of MS Office.
* Creative and associative thinking;
* Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
* Excellent work ethics, dynamism and ability to cope with multiple tasks;
* High professional and personal integrity;
* Strong analytical skills;

The student assistant will be working on a 20 hours per week on a monthly 400€ basis. The workplace will be indecon's office in Berlin and the working languages are German and English.
