Job Description
Mission
Reporting to the Manager of the Consortium Support Services and supported by the ReachCentrum team, the SIEF Communication Officer will work in close collaboration with the SIEFs described above, concentrating on carrying out the support tasks in the communication and activities for the SIEFs to ensure these take place in an organized manner (using various IT tools). The SIEF Communication Officer will be the first point of communication between the SIEF members and either the SIEF Formation Facilitator, Lead Registrant or SIEF Leadership Team.
Main Tasks
- Organizing SIEF communication for the activities defined in line with the guidance documents;
- Analysing the information provided by the SIEF;
- Maintaining, communicating and managing the SIEF planning;
- Organizing the communication with other stakeholders; i.e. consultants or SIEF members;
- Facilitating SIEF meetings taking place via remote technologies;
- Resolving issues within the SIEF.
Profile
- The ideal candidate should:
- Be detail oriented and numerate
- Be computer literate (Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint ) and familiar with the use of I.T tools to ensure quick exchange of information within important working groups
- Have a basic knowledge of REACH and experience with European chemicals law
- Have relevant Project Management experience (preferably within chemicals industry) and proven record of working with multiple stakeholders in joint projects where the communication is crucial
- Have a bachelor degree
- Be proficient in English with good knowledge of another European language
