Role Overview
A Senior Banker is sought, with a proven track record, to play a leading role in originating, structuring and closing transactions in the Property and Tourism sectors, using the full range of financing structures available to the Bank.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
· The candidate should be fully capable of working independently throughout the whole life cycle of projects. This will be accomplished through marketing, origination, project screening, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, execution and monitoring of projects.
· Candidates should have a background in the technical preparation, appraisal, and implementation of investment projects, and be familiar with the financial structuring of real estate projects, including the use of senior debt, mezzanine, equity and guarantees.
· An important component of the job will be to participate in the work of the Team and to ensure guidance of junior bankers and analysts.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years investment bank/project finance experience, from a major international financial institution where he/she must have acquired high level banking/transaction skills and demonstrable expertise in structuring operations.
- Proven track record in originating and closing transactions in the Property & Tourism sector.
- Prior experience in emerging markets, including Central / Eastern Europe and Russia.
- Cashflow-based transaction experience.
- Sound understanding of business principles.
- Fluency in Russian and English, including very good written and oral communications skills in English.
- Relevant degree from a leading university in the country of education.
- Computer literacy.
