Description of the Vacancy

We are looking for a motivated work-from-home-student interested in supporting ECAS’ research activities aimed at creating an extensive database on media outlets established in Sweden.

The candidate will support ECAS in the framework of a paid voluntary agreement for a period of around 50 working days to be conducted between December 2019 and March 2020.

The candidate will be able to manage his/her own working hours and will be asked to report on his/her progress every two weeks to the assigned supervisor.                                                                                                               


The successful candidate will assist ECAS’ Team by implementing the following activities:

  • Carrying out desk research;
  • Creating a database of media outlets (contact details, argument for selection, etc.) from Sweden;
  • Indicating the most relevant stakeholders;
  • Taking part in regular Skype meetings.

Profile and skills

The candidate must have excellent written and oral command of Swedish and English.

He/She should also have ideally the following skills:

  • Being enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s degree programme;
  • Good research and analytical skills;
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel;
  • Capable of meeting strict deadlines.


Voluntary Agreement with a total reimbursement of 500EUR.
