Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is hiring an experienced technical Recruiter to focus on consultant hires in Southern Europe (SE) consisting of France, BENE, Italy and Iberia and approximately 300 employees. SE is part of ERM’s EMEA Region and the second largest in the group. The SE recruiter will play a significant role supporting the business achieve its growth ambition. The ideal candidate will have solid recruitment experience in a similar or technical related field and be fluent in English and French. The position will jointly report into the SE HR Director (Barcelona, Spain) and the EMEA Recruitment Lead (London, UK) and also work and collaborate with other recruiters across the EMEA Region in the pursuit of talent. This person will ideally be based in Belgium with France (Paris) as an alternative but other SE locations may be considered.

Role responsibilities:

  • Manage the end to end recruitment process from requisition through to interview and offer for consultant hires for the Southern Europe region
  • Work closely with the hiring managers to understand role requirement, and develop and execute sourcing strategy via various recruitment channels (e.g. direct sourcing, job boards, social media, employee referrals etc)
  • Ensure that all recruitment is diligently managed on ERM’s recruitment system – ‘Workday Recruitment’ – from the creation of a vacancy to the completion of a successful hire
  • Proactively develop talent pipeline to support future hiring needs
  • Provide external talent / market insight and relevant compensation data to support the business to make an informed hiring decision
  • Engage with local in-country HR teams to assist in the generation of employment offers and contract documentation
  • Produce relevant recruitment reports and metrics as required to track recruitment progress
  • Ensure compliance to GDPR and other local data protection requirements, employment law and equal opportunities monitoring and philosophy

Requirements:

  • Experienced in the recruitment of technical and/ or scientific related skills ideally in the environmental, civil engineering, oil & energy and/ or management consulting industry sector preferred
  • Experienced in the usage of social media channels to proactively source for suitable candidates
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience of working with and managing senior managers on their recruitment requirements,
  • Strong interviewing skills able to coach and develop ERM hiring managers to improve assessment and identification of future hires,
  • Experience and rigorous usage of recruitment system technology; e. g. Workday Recruitment
  • Fluent English and French language skills in both verbal and written communication; Spanish, Italian, Dutch skills would be advantageous
