AETS, International Consultancy Company, a French leading contractor of the European Union development programmes (EUROPEAID, DG SANCO, DG MARE, EIB, EBRD), the French Development Agency and other donors such as World Bank, in the field of quality infrastructures related to trade facilitation, is recruiting a Project Manager in Quality & Safety.

She/he will manage Quality and Safety related projects internationally (Africa, Asia, Latin America, ENPI countries...) in relation with accreditation, standardization, certification and conformity assessment, as well as OHS matters, and will develop the business in this field with public clients and the private sector. She/he will undertake part of the technical work (consulting/training for the beneficiary institutions and bodies benefitting from the projects) whilst respecting internal quality management procedures and participating in development of the Quality Management System of AETS.


  • Engineering degree or University diploma Master level, with an option or a postgraduate degree in a technical field such as chemistry, physics or biology;
  • Proven ability for team-work in a multicultural environment and excellent writing skills in English and French;
  • Previous experience (internships also considered) in the industry, consulting or certification, or testing laboratories sector and preferably abroad;
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and safety aspects appreciated;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Working knowledge of Spanish appreciated.

Type of contract:

  • Permanent contract, based in Pau, France.
  • Frequent trips abroad are to be expected.
