EU Framework Contract Beneficiaries projects & Aid Delivery Methods project
Permanent staff – Louvain-la-Neuve
ADE is a private company which specializes in assisting private and public decision-makers in the formulation of rational economic decisions and in monitoring their implementation. ADE mostly intervenes at public level and throughout the cycle of the decision-making process, from problem analysis to problem solving and support for project execution (www.ade.be).
ADE is presently looking for a project manager who will be in charge of (1) the implementation of the projects from the Framework Contract Beneficiaries as well as (2) the “methodological support and training in Aid Delivery methods” (ADM) project.
The Framework Contract projects are small studies or technical assistance projects undertaken in the European Commission in third countries, for amounts of up to 200 000 €. ADE is leader of lot 11 (Macro Economy, Public finances and Regulatory Aspects) and a member of consortiums for lots 7 (Culture Governance and Home Affaires), 9 (Education, Employment and Social Affairs) and 13 (Humanitarian Aid, Crisis Management and Post Crisis Assistance).
The ADM project is an important programme aiming at providing methodological support and training, targeted at the Delegation and HQ staff of the European Commission (EC), in allocation modalities of the assistance provided by the EC to third countries. This program runs for a period of 3 years and has an annual budget of 2 500 000 €.
Profile :

• University degree, master in Economics or equivalent
• Bilingual English/French
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Experience in project management
• Strong knowledge of IT tools (Office 2007- Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Experience in human resources management is an asset.

Proposed position

• Management of experts’ contracts
• Preparation of experts’ missions abroad
• Operational and financial monitoring of the projects
• Maintaining regular contacts with clients and consultants
• Budget management and preparation of invoices

ADE offers a full time position, starting in January 2009 for an open ended contract.
