EU Project and Communication Intern

EPN (European Professionals Network) is a Brussels-based civil society organization that provides professionals in Belgium with services to foster career development, awarenessraising, network building and social enrichment by implementing projects on national and European level. It aims to contribute not only to the career development of high-skilled people but also advocates their rights and challenges at the EU level.

EPN offers internship possibility for university graduates in its office in Brussels. This is a position for 9 months starting from October 2019. The candidates we are looking for will have:

  • Experienced in implementing and reporting on Erasmus +  KA2 Stratejic Partnership Projects, Amif, Cosme Programmes, Actions on Media Literacy Projects
  • A graduate degree ideally in EU affairs, political science, economics, public policy or similar areas.
  • Positive attitude and keen interest in the EU Projects 
  • The ability to conduct research and analysis
  • The ability to learn quickly and work within a team
  • Satisfactory English speaking and writing skills. A good command of French or Dutch. Other languages will be asset!
  • Good social skills and the motivation to work in a multicultural environment

You will have to:

  • Implement and report current funded projects of EPN
  • Map and apply to the relevant EU funds/subsidies
  • Assist the organization in project & event management
  • Assist in developing our communication and social media strategy
  • Help with the institutional relations (PR activities)
  • Web site content management , photo and video capturing/editing
