About Sustainalytics

Do you believe that - with the right insights - investors could contribute to a more just and sustainable global economy? Over the last 25 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to this mission as the leading independent provider of Environmental, Social and corporate Governance (ESG) research and ratings.

Sustainalytics analyzes and rates the sustainability performance of companies based on publicly-available information, such as regulatory filings, annual-/sustainability reports, company websites and reliable third-party sources. Investors use this information to support the construction of their investment universes, make better informed investment decisions, analyze the sustainability performance of their portfolios and/or engage with companies in relation to their business activities and behavior. Technology is increasingly becoming an integral part of what we do as we leverage smart technologies to improve efficiency, broaden our product suite and reach new segments of the investment community.

We are proud to have helped more than 80% of the 20 largest global investment managers implement responsible investment strategies. We are a global company with over 350 employees in 13 offices that are situated in the US, UK, Germany, Japan, France, Canada, Romania, Australia and the Netherlands.

Through the IRRI survey, they have selected us as one of the top two ESG research firms, since 2012, and corporate governance research firms, since 2014. For more information, visit our website.
