Press & IT Communications officer

What position are we offering?
CEPI is looking for a permanent press and IT communications officer position.
Working under the supervision of CEPI’s PA and Communication Director, he/she would be responsible for:

  • Organising press relations and media networks with trade press and EU policy media including press briefings / interviews/ follow up.
  • Drafting and publishing press releases (on- and off-line)
  • Preparing internal press briefings/speaking points for addressing the media on sensitive issues
  • Overseeing the IT/web related aspects of all CEPI communication activities, for instance the maintenance and content management of online platforms
  • Coordinating the technical and operational aspects of the revamping of CEPI website in cooperation with our website management provider
  • Supporting CEPI communications activities with the production of graphic design material, creation of mini websites,…

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an agile professional with a demonstrated experience in press/media relations and IT communications and solid knowledge in graphic design, who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and has excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Degree in Digital Communications/Journalism/Media relations
  • English mother tongue (required!)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in the field
  • Mastering of graphic design softwares and Microsoft office tools (PPT & excel)
  • Proficiency in Content Management Systems
  • Team-player and good networker enjoying multicultural work environment
  • Rigorous and quality-oriented, with high attention to details


  • Familiarity with EU climate change, environment, energy and trade policies
  • Previous experience in EU Public Affairs and Communications
  • Knowledge of another European language
