Job Description
The e-business Center PwC&IESE at IESE Business School has a tenure-track opening at the rank of full-time postdoctoral researcher in the IESE’s Research Center, (e-business Center PwC&IESE). The candidate will be expected to collaborate extensively with the following projects:
Advances in Research on the Innovation in Information Technologies: A Sectoral Transformation Approach
The objective is to develop a conceptual frame that allows us to classify the possible ICT’s impacts on the competitive structure of markets and strategies, as well as a proposal for actions that companies and regulators can adopt to improve the competitiveness of companies and regions.
Innovation based on ICTs: Uses of “Social Media” within and between Organizations.
The project aims to develop a conceptual frame that allows us to classify the impact that Web 2.0 tools and applications, can have in the different areas of companies’ activity, through the identification and study of those that lead the implantation of this sort of tools.
Requirements:
- PhD degree must have been obtained less than 3 years ago.
- Doctor of Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or Economics.
- Very high level of written and spoken English.
- Interested in researching in the business field.
- A thorough knowledge of statistics and econometrics.
