About EPPSA:

The European Power Plant Suppliers Association is the voice in Europe of companies supplying the most advanced thermal power plants, their components and related services. EPPSA members, located throughout Europe, represent a leading sector of technologies with more than 100,000 highly-skilled employees.
EPPSA actively promotes the importance of flexible and efficient, state-of-the-art thermal power generation technologies as part of the solutions in the ongoing energy system transition. Thermal Power has a key enabling role to play in our society by allowing the integration of more renewables while ensuring the stability of the system, supplying affordable energy that boosts the European industry’s competitiveness and contributing to EU’s energy supply security.
Virtually all thermal power plants in the EU are built by members of EPPSA or equipped with their components, and provide around 50% of Europe’s electricity. EPPSA members provide the most innovative thermal power technologies in the world.


  • Monitoring the latest EU legislative and policy developments in the Energy and Environment fields
  • Preparing and participating in workshops, conferences and networking events and report back
  • Drafting position papers, reports, minutes and other publications as necessary
  • Conducting research and reporting on EU projects and developments relevant to the association

Requirements and competencies:

  • Interest in energy, industry and environment issues
  • Knowledge of EU Institutions and its decision-making processes
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and plan to meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite; good commands of German/French are desirable; any additional European languages are an asset
  • A relevant university degree (for example Economics, Law, International Relations, Political Sciences)
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent writing and oral skills
  • Ability to learn fast and work on a wide range of issues
  • Cooperative and well-mannered, team player, curious attitude, flexible, sense of humour
  • Good computer skills with MS Office suite, website management and the Internet
