Job Description
Function:
• Monitors the International Accounting Standard Board work and identifies emerging trends relevant for European insurance industry
• Provides analysis of developments and their potential impact for CEA’s members
• Advises management on actions to undertake
• Ensures close contact and takes responsibility to the internal stakeholders of the CEA, i.e. the member organisations and their representatives
• Supports CEA working groups and committees
• Active participation to CEA’s lobbying strategy towards external stakeholders including EU authorities
• Contributes to studies in order to help formulate proposals for regulation
• Develops CEA positions and influences external partners
• Analyse other key stakeholders positions (EFRAG, FASB, IAIS, other trade associations, ...) and assess the impact for CEA positions)
Profile:
• University degree in Economics or Finance
• Experience (minimum 3 years) in an insurance company. Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
• Ability to think strategically and to influence
• Strong analytical skills
• Active listener, skilled and efficient communicator
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence
• Team player
• Proficiency in English
