CIA-Agricoltori Italiani is one of the largest agricultural organizations in Europe and in Italy. 

The successful candidate will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
  • Monitoring relevant EU policies;
  • Managing Members relationships;
  • Help prepare materials, such as briefings, position papers, newsletters, etc.;
  • Monitor and report on regulatory developments;
  • Help represent Cia- Agricoltori italiani in meetings with members, partners, and the EU institutions and agencies;
  • Managing a EU-funded project;
  • Organising events and seminars
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
  • University degree in agriculture, environment, EU policy, Law or Economy;
  • Italian mother-tongue or excellent command of the language, fluency in English and French, additional language skills (German, Spanish) are desired;
  • Good understanding of the functioning of the EU and its decision-making process;
  • Previous work experience in an EU affairs environment and EU-funded projects;
  • Interest and ideally a good understanding of agriculture, science and technology and trade;
  • Motivated and flexible, a quick learner and self-starter;
  • A team player also able to work independently and with tight deadlines.

The Advisor will be based in the Cia-Agricoltori Italiani office in Brussels. Some travels abroad will be requested.
