European Young Innovators Forum is the leading foundation for youth innovation in Europe, an

independent, non-profit, pan-European, bottom-up association reaching over 500,000 young people

across Europe.

We are looking for a proactive Operations Officer to support the team in Brussels and beyond.

The operations officer is the first point of contact both internally within the team but also externally

with EYIF’s ecosystem of partners, suppliers, and its community of start-ups, policy-makers and all

other stakeholders;

Responsibilities:

● Support EYIF's management team with strategic planning and coordination (calendar

management, organize team meetings, take minutes, etc.);

● Plan, Organise and Coordinate EYIF’s operations and logistics all across Europe (i.e. events,

startup fairs, workshops, partnership meetings, etc.)

● Ensure office management and operations, including office inventory and supplies, HR

administration and building relationships with EYIF’s suppliers ecosystem.

● Support EYIF’s executive team in accounting, finance and procurement

● Ensure process implementation and compliance, in particular IT tools, databases, and event

management.

● Provide excellent customer service in order to build and maintain strong relationship with

customers.

● Ensure customer complaints are handled and resolved accurately and quickly.

Minimum requirements:

The selected candidate will have strong self-organizational skills, a pro-active mindset and can-do

attitude and will be continuously and pro-actively be following up on tasks and see that all pending

actions are completed by all relevant team members.

● A winning personality, enjoys interacting with people, has an international multi-cultural

outlook and strong networking and communication skills, both online and offline.

● EU national, located in Brussels or looking to relocate to Brussels asap and working full time;

● A University degree in Business, Marketing or Administration or similar (alternatively, a degree

in another area);

● Fluency in English, both spoken and written; and preferable that part of your academic track has

been conducted in English.

● Previous experience in a similar role will be considered a great advantage.

IMPORTANT: The candidate must be interested in innovation and entrepreneurship and is willing to

grow in this field.

Preferable requirements: Experience in events and event-management activities (i.e. volunteering,

etc.) requiring strong coordination and task management processes.

Conditions: The position will be compensated within a competitive package which will be discussed

based on the candidate’s experience.
