Job profile and responsibilities

IMA-Europe is offering a full-time position as Office Assistant, and we are looking for a motivated and service-minded candidate (M/F), to immediately join our team in Brussels, Belgium. As an Office Assistant you'll assist the Director-General for office management and be responsible for the reception and switchboard.

Essential job functions

  • Reception of visitors and deliveries to the office
  • Preparation of meeting rooms and materials
  • Screening of incoming telephone calls
  • Assistance for event organisation
  • Management of office supplies and catering
  • Reservation of hotels rooms, restaurants, travel and taxis
  • Provide administrative support to the team

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Secretariat degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in English and French. Another EU language is an asset
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Rigorous, flexible, service-minded and with excellent organisational skills

Who are we?

IMA-Europe is a Trade Association in Brussels, representing the European industrial minerals producers. Our field of activity focusses on all non-commercial issues related to minerals, from their extraction and processing through to their whole life cycle. Priorities revolve around health and safety at the workplace, environmental protection, product safety as well as public awareness about the importance of industrial minerals.
