EURACTIV is the leading EU policy media present in 12 EU capitals, publishes free EU news and facilitates EU policy debates for policy professionals in 12 languages. With 2.3 million page views and 783.986 unique visitors per month, EURACTIV is the leading online media on EU affairs. The media gathers approx. 100 people including franchise partners and has four main sources of income: Sponsorship, Communication Package Memberships, Advertising and Public contracts.

To strengthen our marketing and communications team we are currently recruiting a

Marketing & Communications Intern (UK) - London based
(Start-date: June 2017)                                                        

Responsibilities include:

  • Assistance with events related to Brexit (identifying speakers, participants, etc); incl. social media
  • Assistance with marketing (prepare marketing communications with UK-interested clients, prospects, contacts)
  • Assistance with business development (identifying prospects; proposal-writing)
  • Assistance with activity reports for clients (including analytics)
  • Attending events of relevance to EU policy


  • Demonstrated interest in EU politics and the media
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Fast, entrepreneurial, team-player, hard-working, ‘hands-on’ approach
  • Able to work independently
  • Good phone, interpersonal skills and knowledge of MS Office
  • Good software skills especially experience with Google Analytics
